XRP deposit on Quidax is seamless, provided you use your correct wallet address and your destination tag.

What is a Destination Tag?

A destination tag is a unique identifier assigned to each transaction. When sending XRP to an exchange or wallet that supports destination tags, it ensures the funds are credited to the correct account.

How to Deposit XRP on Quidax

1. Log in to Your Quidax Account via your Quidax app
2. Click on "Wallets" at the bottom of the home page screen
3. Select XRP from the List of Cryptocurrencies (Assets)
4. Click on the Receive Button and select Ripple as the network
5. A new screen will appear displaying your unique XRP deposit address and destination tag:  Copy both the address and the destination tag. Ensure that you copy the destination tag exactly as it appears.
6. Initiate the Transfer from Your External Wallet: Open your external wallet where your XRP is currently held.
7. Initiate a transfer to the copied XRP deposit address.: Paste the destination tag exactly as provided by Quidax.
8. Confirm the Transaction: Review all the details, including the destination address and tag, and confirm the transaction.
9. Wait for Confirmation: The deposit will be processed after a few confirmations on the XRP network. You will receive a notification once the funds are credited to your Quidax account.

PS: Always double-check the destination tag. Failing to include the correct destination tag can result in a loss of funds. Ensure the deposit address is correct. Sending XRP to an incorrect address can also result in a loss of funds. 

How to withdraw XRP from Quidax.

1. Log in to Your Quidax Account via your Quidax app
2. Click on "Wallets" at the bottom of the home page screen.
3. Select XRP from the List of Cryptocurrencies (Assets).
4. Click on the Send Button
5. On the next page, input the amount of XRP you want to send, select the network Ripple  network, input the receiver wallet address and destination tag and click on continue
6. Review the details on the next page and confirm the transaction.
7. A mail will be sent to you to confirm your withdrawal, click on the link in the mail and your withdrawal will be sent out.

PS; Ensure the receiver address is on the Ripple network to avoid loss of funds. Blockchain transactions are irreversible after confirmation. XRP transactions sent without destination tag cannot be recovered.

I deposited XRP without a destination tag, how do I receive it in my wallet?

If you have mistakenly deposited XRP to your Quidax wallet without your destination tag, we can retrieve it for you only when proven you own the transaction.

To recover XRP that you might have sent without a destination tag or to your other wallet we require more information on what has happened. Below are the information we require:

• The addresses involved in the transaction
• The amount of XRP sent
• A google meet call will be organised between you and a member of the support staff where you will show a live recording of the transaction hash showing the transaction from the platform you sent it from
• The date of the transaction
• Your account must be fully verified for you to complete this process
