Account verification on Quidax is as easy as ABC. However, we know there are some times that your verification may be rejected. There are reasons this may happen and we have outlined the possible reasons for your KYC not being approved.
For Basic KYC Rejection
1. You did not upload a clear picture of your ID so the system is unable to read your details. Please note that the system does not approve scanned copies.
2. Your real-time selfie (biometrics) was done in a dark or unclear environment and the system is unable to match your face with your ID.
3. You used an expired ID.
4. While uploading your Passport ID, you did not take a picture of the full biodata page. We need the full biodata page and not just the part where your details show.
5. We were unable to verify the ID submitted.
For Advanced KYC Rejection
1. You uploaded an unclear bank statement.
2. You used a bank statement that doesn’t have a precise house address. Please note that “Diamond Estate, Lekki Phase 1” is not a precise address.
3. You uploaded an inactive bank statement- that is a bank statement without transactions showing on it.
4. You uploaded a utility bill that does not have your name on it.
5. You uploaded a bank statement or utility bill that was done over 3 months ago. You can only upload documents done within the last 3 months.
