1. Why Does My Quidax Portfolio Value Change?

Your Portfolio Balance is the first thing you see when you open your Quidax app and if you are accessing it from Nigeria or as a Nigerian, your Portfolio Balance will show in Naira. Every thing in your wallet which includes crypto wallet, USD wallet and savings has a Naira value that is determined by the rate in the market and it is this Naira value that is shown on your Portfolio Balance.

2. How Does Price Fluctuation Impact My Portfolio?

Price Changes: Please note that your Portfolio Balance can change significantly as a result of the rise or fall of the value of the crypto or USD you have in your wallet.  If the price of BTC or ETH increases, your portfolio value in Naira will rise. Also, if prices drop, your portfolio value will decrease. Quidax does not control the prices of your Portfolio Balance.

3. Should I Be Concerned About Portfolio Balance Changes?

No need to panic! Here’s what to keep in mind; focus on the crypto or USD amount you have. Your assets are safe and nothing has gone wrong. It is just the market price that has either decreased or increased. Cryptocurrencies are known for their volatility and prices can swing dramatically in the short term.
