Aliexpress

Making payments on Aliexpress is really straightforward forward but we have seen a few customers complain about the cards being declined because Aliexpress requires them to submit an appeal.

If you have this issue, you should submit the appeal and prove your identity to Aliexpress. This is just a security check from Aliexpress to be sure you own the card and after this, you should be good to go.

PayPal

Your cards can be easily linked to Paypal and used to process payments on other sites like instagram directly. You simply need to retain a Nigerian address rather than the US address on the card. See steps and details you can follow below:

1. Go to the Paypal log in page and sign in to your account
2. You will see your list of added cards and a link card button both above and below them. Click on Link Card

4. Insert your card number, expiry and cvv

5. Before clicking the Link card button, you will see a field to enter address. Click on the dropdown and select add new address

5. Input card address in the exact format as seen in the image below then click on the add address button below the questions

   Address line 1: 256 Chapman Road

City: Newark

Postcode: 197020 (if your paypal account is a Nigerian account) or 19702 (if your paypal account is a US account)

State/capital; Lagos (or your current state)

6. You can now click on the Link Card submission button

You're good to go!

Alibaba

Your Qards don’t currently work on Alibaba but you can pay on Alibaba using Paypal.

Google Ads

Before starting, you need to ensure that your payment method is set to manual payments and not automatic as Google doesn’t accept prepaid cards from the African region.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Go to payment settings and select manage settings
2. Click the edit button in front of ‘how you pay’
3. Select the manual payments option and save changes.

Once you have done this, you can proceed to save the card. Please ensure that you have sufficient balance on the card. To save card:

1. Go to payment methods and select Add New card
2. Input your card number, expiry, and CVV
3. Input the address in the format below

Address line 1: 256 Chapman Road

City: Newark

Postcode: 197020

State/capital; Lagos (or your current state)

1. Google will test charge and save the card.
2. Navigate back to the payments page and input the amount you want to fund then make your payment.

Apple

You can make payments on Apple using your Qard. Please note that the cards are issued with a US bank and you will need to enter the USD billing address on the card for the billing address.

Firstly you’ll have to change your location:

1. You can change your country to the US on your mobile device or by logging into the Apple website to initiate the change. Sign in to appleid.apple.com.
2. Tap or click Personal Information.
3. Tap or click Country/Region.
4. Tap Change Country or Region
5. Follow the onscreen instructions.
6. Enter a valid payment method for your new country or region.*

Next, add your card to the Apple account:

1. Open the Settings app on your Apple device.
2. Tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
3. Tap on “Payment & Shipping”.
4. Tap on “Add Payment Method”.
5. Enter the card information, including the card number, expiration date, and security code.
6. Confirm that the billing address you’re using is as follows.

billing_zip_code = 19702,

country_code = US,

state = Delaware,

state_code = DE

7. In case you’re asked to enter a phone number please feel free to add any random phone number.

8. Tap on “Next” to confirm the card information.

9. If the card information is correct, it will be linked to your Apple account and you can start using it for purchases.
